Shipping and return policy

1. FOR THE BUYERS

a)  SHIPPING
Most of the orders placed through us are shipped as per the courier service. You will be notified of a planned shipping date within 5 business days of placing your order though Saturday 9am to 7pm. The shipping time may vary because each craftsman and artisan’s process is unique. The Shipping charges are subject to estimation thus, actual shipping charges will be applied to the invoice according to best method/best price, and the same will be informed to You prior to the shipping. Accepting requests for pickup or special delivery are at our discretion. As soon as your package ships, we will email you your package tracking information.

b)  PAYMENT

Payment is required to be made before the shipment of Your order. We accept convenient modes of payment such as Net banking, MasterCard, and visa. However, we do not accept cash on delivery as a mode of payment for your orders.

For the convenience of buyers outside of India, we provide payment options via MoneyGram/PayPal or direct Bank deposit. We also give discounts on retail price to our wholesale buyers in the form of ‘one time coupon’ which can be requested from us anytime, but granting of such discounts is subject to our discretion. The discount ranges from 5-25% depending on the order size and category of product.

c)   DELIVERY OF THE PRODUCT- ESTIMATED TIME OF DELIVERY AND MODE OF DELIVERY

The estimated time of delivery is within 7 working days for domestic orders and 21 working days for international orders. We try to process all deliveries through reputed courier companies like Bluedart, Aramex, AFL, DTDC, DHL and FedEx. In some cases where the pin code/zip code is not serviceable by these courier companies, we use Indian Speed Post for those deliveries. If there is no courier service available in your area, we will get in touch with you and try to work out a convenient alternate delivery location that is serviced by our courier partners.

d)  PACKAGING OF THE ITEM

Unframed and uncounted works of art will be shipped rolled up and in protective cylinders. Art works that are framed (with glass or otherwise) or those art works which are susceptible to breakage will be packed in protective layers of bubble-wrap and other such anti-shock material so that they are delivered to you undamaged.

e)  INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY

www.artoftribalindia.com delivers items internationally. You are more than welcome to make your purchases on our site from anywhere in the world. We use Bluedart, Aramex, AFL, DTDC, DHL and FedEx to deliver your shipments safely and timely to you. Customs duty & other international taxes, etc. if applicable will have to be borne by the customer according to the laws of the land.

f)  ONLINE TRACKING

All www.artoftribalindia.com items are delivered through reputed courier partners who will provide you with a tracking ID for your order by which you can track your delivery on the respective websites of our courier partners. We will email you the tracking number after we dispatch your order. You can also see the tracking number in your order history panel in your account when you login.

g)  BUYERS PROTECTION PROGRAM

The payment is not released to the seller until the product is delivered to the buyer and the buyer confirms product satisfaction. www.artoftribalindia.com upholds high standards of post purchase service, such as easy returns and refunds in case of damaged/defective/broken orders, or if the order does not match the description or photo as specified on the website, or if the product is disliked for quality. www.artoftribalindia.com is bound to respond to any refund/return claim within 5 working days; however your payment will be refunded without any query.

2.  FOR THE SELLERS

a)  As soon as an order is placed for any of your products on the website, you will be notified immediately via email. You can also check the same in the “My Account” page.  You are required to courier the order placed by the buyer(s) within 5 working days on confirmation of the sale (i.e. after payment is confirmed).

b)  Shipping charges, for both national or international for any order will be borne by the seller. Product packaging will be taken care of by the seller. Unframed and uncounted works of art need to be shipped rolled up and in protective cylinders. Art works that are framed (in glass or otherwise) or are susceptible to breakage need to be packed in protective layers of bubble-wrap and other such anti-shock material so that they are delivered undamaged.

c)  www.artoftribalindia.com assures delivery of your work through reputed courier services so as to avoid any damages or misplacement while shipping.  The amount of a product shown on the website of www.artoftribalindia.com is the amount receivable by the seller, without any further deductions. It is the seller’s responsibility to maintain the assurance of availability of products once they are listed on the website. www.artoftribalindia.com follows a very simple “click and buy” model to ensure the fastest transactions for a seller.

d) www.artoftribalindia.com reserves the right to terminate the membership of a seller in case of repeated returns or complaints. A seller must consent wholly to www.artoftribalindia.com’s “terms  and conditions” to showcase their work on the website.

3.   RETURNS

In the odd case that you do not love your products, here is our policy on returns:

a)  Products that are eligible for return, can be returned within 10 days (7 days for jewelry) of receiving the merchandise. Eligible products will be easily visible on our product screens under shipping information.

b)  Not all products are eligible for returns. In order to maintain fairness to our artisans and craftsmen, as well as keep our prices fair, many items are “Final Sale.” Please make it a point to understand which products are eligible for returns before purchasing.

c)  Once we receive and approve your return request, we will arrange for a return pick up at an agreed upon time.

d)  In the unlikely event that your merchandise arrives damaged, you should email us a photo of the damaged product with the Bar Code. You must email us about any damaged product with the Bar Code. You must email us about any damaged items in your shipment within 48 hours of receiving your order.

e)  Upon authorization of returns, we will gladly offer you an exchange or refund. You could choose to get a full refund in the form of store credits or get a refund on your original credit or debit card used for payment in which case return shipping charges and a stocking fee of Rs.100 per order will be applicable. Items that may have been damaged, defective or sent by error will be fully refunded.
